Why: This course provides a comprehensive programme to equip participants with knowledge, skills and best practices with which to approach statutory planning for biodiversity in Victoria. The course will help deepen participants’ understanding of biodiversity planning by taking them from the ‘big picture’ of biodiversity planning, through Victoria’s Planning Provisions and Planning Schemes, to how to most effectively use these tools (and more).

This course will support participants from a range of disciplines to work together for effective, focussed biodiversity planning outcomes.

Registration opens at 8:45am for a 9:00am start. The formal programme will finish at 4:30pm.

Whom: Suitable for local and state government environment/biodiversity planners, statutory planners, strategic planners; agency staff; consultants; tertiary students, and others with an interest in biodiversity planning in Victoria. The course is suitable for participants at all levels of experience.
Cost: $325.00 (plus GST) per person. This includes a full programme of professional and experienced speakers in a beautiful venue.

Cancellation policy: If you are unable to attend a Seeding Meliora event, your registration is fully transferable. Please inform us by email prior to the event if you would like to transfer your registration so we can maintain an up-to-date database of attendees. Alternatively, a refund of 80% of the event fee will be paid for cancellations received in writing by email up to four days prior to the event commencing.
